What to do if your music application stops scrobbling

last-fm_logo Some time ago I had a problem with scrobbling. It didn’t work at all. There was no such application where scrobbling worked fine but Music On Console with lastfmsubmitd. But listening to music in console is not what I wanted to do. I tried applications written in Python also as in Java. After some time I figured out what’s going on and where’s the problem. What to do if you want last.fm to speak English

Last.fm is a great social website. There’s no man who thinks in other way. A lot of people around world are bilingual. No one of them wants to use last.fm in English for sure. Last.fm’s crew claim if you are French, your purpose is to use French last.fm, if you are German, you intend to use German last.fm etc. What to do if you want to change language of last.fm’s interface? I’ll give you two solutions now.

The first question is do you want to change language of interface of all websites you use or last.fm only. Ask yourself about all websites you use. Maybe some of them should deliver native language to you? I prefer to use all sites in English rather than use in my native language. I’ll describe how to make it in life.

This solution is very easy. If you’re running Linux, you should choose Edit -> Preferences in your Firefox/Iceweasel web browser. Then go to Content and click “Choose…”. You can set up English language in new window.
